Roasting

As a light roast Lazy Sunday is soft on the palate and softens into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes to add the balance. The result is a cup that can be enjoyed by itself or with cakes, milk chocolate or other sweets. It also goes well with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges extremely well.

When brewing this coffee beans 1kg we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel using some of the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brewing. After brewing, let the coffee sit for 4 minutes. This will ensure that the grounds have been fully saturated and not over-extracted. The water is then moved through the grounds using the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.

Lazy Sunday is an aromatic light roast that has an uplifting citrus and cocoa aroma. It has a silky and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa-like hints can be traced back to the days of winter spent on the sofa, reading a book and the warmth of a hug from the family. To brew your coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from over extracting and forming undesirable elements in the drink. Then add your grounds and 250ml of off the boil water. For four minutes, simmer, take a plunge and relax.
