Lever/Lever

This is also the reason behind levers found in many everyday tools, such as crowbars and fishing rods, hammer claws and even your own legs when you stand on the hand brakes of your car.

Lever/Pad

Lever pad handles are a form of door handle made of upvc that has levers on both sides that operate the multipoint lock. They come in a variety of designs and finishes, and are suitable for a range of materials, including UPVC, Aluminium & Timber doors. They are sold in pairs for the inner and exterior door, with spindles and screws included. They are available in both hand- and non-handled versions to meet the needs of different users.

These can be used to replace the existing upvc door. The levers are raised to open all the multipoint locks, and the key is turned to close or unlock the door. They offer a little more security than the standard lever handles for doors since locking is only done through the inside with keys.

They're not as secure as a cylinder lock but they're cost-effective ways to increase the security of your home. The only disadvantage is that they don't provide the same level of security as a cylinder lock and they don't restrict access to the home if the door is left open.

Lever/Snib

Lever latches are by far the most simple kind of door handles. By pressing down on the lever, it triggers a simple latch mechanism inside to keep the door shut, and can be locked using keys. Some lever privacy handles operate similar to the doorknob, but with an additional knob, similar to the doorknob.

A snib button can be very beneficial, especially for homes where it's important to protect privacy or ensure security. If your spouse is expected to arrive home late from work, you can apply the snib so that they aren't allowed in until they're ready in. This kind handle is also used for interior doors such as bedrooms, where you might require a lock to prevent access from the outside.

In some cases there are instances where snib buttons could cause problems, particularly if you have older locks and doors that are warped. If the snib button is used accidentally or by someone who isn't quite used to it, the door can slam shut and shut you out. In most cases, you can get in by knocking on the door's frame or the letterbox, but this isn't the best option.

This is accomplished by a 'pad' shaped external handle which locks in the gap between the handles and lock case to prevent the latch from being removed or the door from being opened.

This kind of handle is designed to fit uPVC doors fitted with multipoint locks that operate using a split spindle operation. This kind of operation requires that the internal lever handle and the external pad handle be attached to the same lock case. It could be a simple replacement of the existing uPVC handle, but it may also require a new lock case or a brand new set to handle furniture.

Lever/Moveable Snib

The lever/lever handle is one of the most well-known kinds of door handles made from upvc and comes in a range of designs. It is comprised of two inline handles that move and is lockable with either a key or thumbturn cylinder that is inside. Pad handles can be used as a substitute to lever or lever handles. It is comprised of a fixed or moveable pad that can be used to operate locks. These Fullex handles have a sprung lever pad and a snib that can be activated to hold the latch.
