Inline Lever/Lever

The design of the sprung lever allows the handle to be set and angled to provide a comfortable grip and is suitable for all users. The handle has been tested for endurance up to 200 000 cycles. This ensures that the quality of finish and performance will last for a long time. The sprung lever can be reduced to accommodate the widest range of locks. This is particularly useful for doors with narrower frames, where the cylinder is located further back. A shorter lever is an excellent option for doors that have latches that can be activated by the thumb turn on the inside.

Lever Pad

A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc operates differently from lever-type handles that are found on the majority of doors. These window handles for upvc are operated by a single spindle or by two spindles inline or offset. They are commonly used on UPVC doors with double glazing and come in a variety of finishes & variations.

The handles have been tested to a minimum of 200,000 cycles and are available in several finishes like White and Silver, as well as Chrome & Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and resistant to corrosion. This gives the handle the best performance and durability for its intended use.

All UPVC levers for handles include a spindle and screws and can be installed on the uPVC door. Once you have decided on the correct size of PZ and the correct PZ size, you must ensure that the push and lever pads are shaped to match the American with Disabilities Act compliant handles that you need for your door. These are typically a square or round design with an internal lever and external push pad.

The majority of UPVC lever pads we sell are sprung, meaning that they return to their horizontal position when they are not in use, instead of hanging out and potentially sticking in the frame. This prevents drafts and cold air from entering a home. The majority of UPVC lever pad handles are available in left and right handed models which allows them to be put on either side of the doors.

Euro Cylinder

Cylinder locks are usually found on uPVC doors, but they can be utilized on other types of doors. The cylinder lock is operated with a key that unlocks the cylinder's casing. This exposes pins that can be aligned with the pins in the lock and allow them to rotate the revolving camera, opening the door. Euro cylinders can be equipped with up to six pins with external and internal doors typically needing different levels of security.

The choice of the correct cylinder is essential; it depends on how your doors and handles are utilized. For instance, exterior doors require a higher security cylinder, while internal doors can be secured using an ordinary cylinder. Certain cylinders are equipped with additional features that can improve security, like anti-drill or anti-bump properties.

To make sure that the euro cylinder is the right size for your door, it must be measured accurately. The cylinder needs to be measured from the screw hole in the center to the ends of the cylinder. This includes the thumb turn, in the event that one is present. It is best to do this with the lock in place, but in the event that this is not possible, you may remove it to take measurements. A cylinder that extends beyond the handle and escutcheon might be vulnerable to attacks, such as lock snapping, so it is important to make sure it's not too long.

Most modern cylinders are designed with bump and anti-drill features built into their design. These features are designed to minimize the chances of an attack by forcing the cylinder rotate in a different direction. This will help to stop the attack and protect your doors.

Spring Cassette

The spring cassette is positioned in the base of the door handle backplate, providing a spring solution and returning the multipoint lock handles back to their rest position after usage. The handles had no spring and would droop when the locking window handles mechanism was disconnected. This simple feature is among the most effective ways to fix this, and is an excellent way to stop your doors made of upvc from becoming stuck in an open or closed position, as they aren't always simple to manually close by hand.

These spring cassettes are specially designed for use with multipoint locks that are sprung but they won't work with multipoint handles that are not sprung and you will require a bespoke hole cut into your backplate in order for them to fit (please look at the image for a technical diagram). They are a replacement for broken or missing cassettes in the door handle backplate of various kinds of uPVC doors. They have a square cut out which can accommodate an 8mm spindle, and they are supplied individually.
