Claire also loved the spacious shopping basket that can be accessed when you use the seat or carrycot unit in any position and can accommodate a large amount of nappies and a changing bag!

The Xplory X premium pram is available from Stokke. It is suitable for babies as young as birth. It includes the frame, a pushchair seat and a lie-flat carrycot, however other accessories like the rain cover will need to be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

The only downside is the price. Although it's less expensive than other 2 in 1 pushchair with car seat in 1 prams, it still costs more than PS1,000 for the complete kit. This is especially difficult to accept when you have alternatives such as the Thule Spring that is lighter and more compact and costs half the price.

The durability of Thule's strollers is legendary and I have seen them put to the test at the Thule Hillerstop headquarters in Sweden. They drop prams from heights and then crash them down slopes and run them over bumpy tracks in the snow to test their quality and endurance. They certainly look great!
