The app is available on iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also has a lot of customization options. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the refrigerator has a standard French-door layout with gallon-sized bins for the doors on each door as well as two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set more spacious drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded down to give taller items more headroom. There's also a full-width drawer to store deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the best aspects of this refrigerator is that the ice maker is in the freezer, making it easy to transfer ice into the fridge for use when required. Its capacity is higher than average for counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also a little cheaper than the best counter-depth refrigerator with an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire french Door fridge freezer fisher and Paykel door refrigerator is a good option if you want a French-door refrigerator that doesn't cost a lot of budget. It's a minimalist design that isn't as striking visually like some of the competitors however it comes with enough features that make it a great option. Its most important feature, the adjustable temperature drawer, helps to keep food items such as vegetables and meat fresher for longer. It also comes with a huge water and ice maker dispenser.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer allows you to redirect some of the fridge's cooling power to this area, so that you can store foods which need extra attention. You can alter this feature using an adjustable slider that is located just outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.

During my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent across all areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees. This is a good performance, but it doesn't quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer to get more precise measurements of your fridge's internal temperature.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of grey-bodied stainless steel that has a "smudge-proof" finish. It blocks streaks and fingerprints better than other stainless steel finishes I've tested.
