About Toto

Joseph is more natural as a frontman than Frederiksen and gives the band a much-needed boost.

The band released Mindfields in 1999 and goes on a massive worldwide tour. After several weeks in Europe the band travels to Japan for sold-out shows. After a short break, Toto resumes recording and goes on to record their first live album entitled Absolutely Live in 1993 which includes the cover of Weezer's track Hash Pipe in response to the band performing their hit song Africa during their recent tour. Toto's touring lineup is completed by drummer Lenny Castro, bassist Shannon Forrest and keyboardist Shem von Schroeck.
