World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to increase the level of weapons and armor that are equippable. This boosts the stats of the item and sometimes adds buffs or rerolls to an attach.

It is important to note that even though you can upgrade your magic and common equipment, it's usually not worth the cost. Rare and exclusive equipment can quickly outperform modernized equipment and magic.

Cost

The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost of upgrading an item depends on its current level as well as the upgrade type chosen. Upgrades to weapons are usually less expensive than upgrades to armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold needed increases as an item is upgraded.

A newly upgraded item will also come with increased stats, which can boost its performance in various ways. The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players improve the quality of weapons, armor and trinkets. This process is similar to gear reforging process in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However, instead of using currency, players have to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.

Item upgrades can be costly, particularly when it is related to armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade path, each step up in item level can cost many Valorstones and crests. The costs can be prohibitive for players who do not have the money or are unwilling to grind.

Fortunately, the game lets players play a reroll of an upgraded item by using an additional tool available in the menu for items. Requirements

Based on the type of item, you'll require one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is droppable from monsters 21+ and Giants; Dice 12 is available from Bosses). You will also need various quantities of Minerals and Erons.

Time

Upgrades to items are a method to increase your ship's stats and gear without having to level them up. They're not cheap, but they can be a great way to increase your stats without having to spend so much time in battle. It's crucial to be aware of the cost and benefits of upgrades to your item before investing your time or money.

Each upgrade increases the item's base stat to a certain extent and also offers the chance of obtaining a bonus substat. The random substat could vary from a modest boost to a much larger boost. It's best to focus on the top-performing items in your slot first, as they'll give you a bigger return for your investment.

Rewards

Some upgrade item components have additional cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade components through crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting, or receiving as rewards. Additionally players can find upgraded items by using an Upgrade Extractor or salvaging them using a top-quality salvage kit. Glyphs placed on gathering tools can be swapped freely.

The player can transform an item into a different upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button an arrow that indicates reroll. This will change the layout of the item's window and allow players to select up to six items to "recycle". The item will be replaced by a level 1 item. Rerolled items won't retain their current level or amount of resources needed to upgrade them.

The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by the item's level and its quality. Rare items can be upgraded to a maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels nine. Item upgrades are added to the item's base statistics and won't increase after a certain amount.
