The mopping function is impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter that will lift the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.

In addition to this it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its high-end price is justified by its robust feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it did well in all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair with no getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable mopping, and dry the mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best automatic vacuum and mop performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tested. In addition, its mops aren't as adept at removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station, dustbag, and water tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads, which are bought separately must be replaced periodically too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum best vacuum and mop you can purchase, its high purchase price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want rather than a requirement.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots that vacuum and mop. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and moved around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple times on longer pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this could be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum but it does have several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is perfect for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.

Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.

The one glaring flaw of this device is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice addition and can help this robot get rid of a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
