Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a unique item upgrader that makes certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and is sometimes offered as a reward during Pokemon GO events.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you see and insert these particular characters, as well as regular glyphs like em dashes, en dashes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).

Each Glyph gives a primary stat boost for the character. It also has up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats can be described as a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses are applied, with the exception of Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.

You can upgrade your Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph has reached level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has been elevated to the desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then pressing the "enchant" button. The Glyph that is created will grant its stated benefit, and boost all other nodes in its area on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs where they can best benefit your game, which is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs, however, might offer dual benefits in the event that certain conditions are satisfied and therefore are worth checking out for.

If you're having difficulty finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of different views.
