Upgrades give you an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item upgrades by +3. Each upgrade also boosts the random substatus.

You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear current it is recommended you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will depend on the current item level of the item upgrades being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than purchasing new equipment from other sources. For instance upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, which will only be able to avail the account-wide discount if all slots are full of high-quality gear.
