The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. It then can alter its direction automatically and clean around the objects without missing a step.

It's the most expensive model I've tried and it comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular design is striking and comes with three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process, a mop button that doubles as a child-lock and a home button to send the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin fills up automatically.

The only issue I encountered in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary), it's a pain to remove the mount for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of intelligent features, Robots That Vacuum and Mop including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these smart features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to allow voice control with this model which is a pity considering the performance of this model.

3. Dreame X40

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive available, but it packs in a lot of additional features that distinguish it from. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub that utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the standard method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, small dirt particles, and clean up spills and soiled spots.

The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is an excellent feature since it prevents the build-up of mould and unpleasant odours in storage, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. The mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mops work well on hard floors as well as in corners. The MopExtend feature lets them reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
