Top Robot Vacuums and Mop Combos

Robots aren't so good at removing particles like screws made of metal or pasta pieces. But they're great at brushing away pet hair, dust and food particles. 1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a fantastic robot vacuum with a number of innovative features that make it easier to maintain than most competing models. The automatic bin emptying feature is among the most useful features we've encountered in a robot vacuum sale and it's compatible with hard floors as well as carpets. The app guides you through the entire process. It's also simple to use and set up. Another notable feature is its ability to return to where it left off in our tests--it did this for 77 mins on one cleaning, before running out of battery.

The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums we have tested, has a self emptying bin that automatically disposes of debris in an external dirt compartment located on its charging base once it is fully filled. This reduces hands-on maintenance and keeps the i3+ EVO from overfilling, however it must be manually emptied after every cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last four to five cleaning sessions.

Similar to the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor tracking sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only keep one map, whereas the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7 can also use its map to create no-go zones as well as virtual barriers, but the i3+ EVO is not able to do this.

While the i3+ EVO is superior in removing surface debris than some of the other robovacs we looked at, it's not the best when it comes to cleaning corners and edges. It's also less gentle on furniture despite being relatively quiet. It pulled chairs away from walls and caused some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and was stuck to cords and toys during testing.

2. Black & Decker Pro Q5

If you're looking to expand your robot vac vacuum collection or just starting out using one, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. It packs a lot of power, advanced navigation and easy automation into a sleek design for a reasonable price. It's the best robot cleaner pound-for-pound model currently available and even beats some of Roborock's much pricier models in many ways.

This robot does an excellent job of cleaning floors that are not clean smart robot, and its avoidance technology helps it steer clear of furniture legs and 153.126.169.73 other obstacles. It also does well on carpets and scores a high score for our tests on navigation. The only drawback is that it's louder than other models we test and it doesn't do as well in our owners satisfaction and predicted reliability assessments.

The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin that is 770ml, which means that you won't have to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. Its 240-minute runtime is also extremely generous when compared to other models we've tested. If the battery is empty, it returns to its dock and recharges before resuming cleaning where it stopped. You can manage the Q5 Pro using the app or voice commands with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

This is the first robot we've seen with 3D mapping. This, in conjunction with other innovations, makes it perform exceptionally well in our vacuuming and mopping tests. You can schedule cleanings and create no-go zones. You can also see the status of your battery. The app is easy to use, but it does not support Apple HomeKit and that feature is expected to be available by 2025. As of early November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to indicate that this feature is delayed until 2025. Some other robots won't work with HomeKit, but many of them work with Siri Shortcuts.

The Tapo RV30 Plus TP-Link robot vacuum cleaner is a fantastic option if you're looking for a robot that can mop as well and is reasonably priced. It has a stylish design and a lot of amazing features for the money. It is possible to control the device using different buttons on the device or through the app and even use voice commands. The Eufy iMop is one of the best full-featured robot automated vacuum and mop combos for hard floors. It features a high-tech mapping system that can map your home across several floors. The well-designed base station nearly completely automates the cleaning process. It also offers impressive obstacle avoidance and navigation.

This model makes use of an internal dToF LiDAR sensor to map your home, creating efficient cleaning routes. The iMop awed us with its analysis of coverage and navigation efficiency and was good at avoiding obstacles, including furniture. It's also able to locate its way back to the base station which is a great benefit in the event it runs out of battery during a cleaning session.

The spot cleaning mode lets you to clean a specific area on your floor. It can also be manually programmed to follow a particular path. This is a great option if you have narrow hallways or stairs. In our carpet cleaning test it did a good job cleaning carpets. However, it had a difficult time to clean rugs and carpets with longer piles. It can be set up to lift the mop pad automatically when it comes into contact with carpet. This is an excellent feature for those who want to avoid having to mop their carpets.
