The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot remote vacuum to date. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. This uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. While it's not quite as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is a solid option for those who need both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that utilize Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Deals cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine if the update is actually working until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a vacuum that does more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably one that is a hybrid. It's also very thorough when it comes to getting rid of dust bunnies which is a problem which many robot vacuums fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little misses in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go areas or modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is easy. It also comes with an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't an essential feature for the majority of people, but it's one that can help you keep track of your robot's maintenance intervals easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are among the top available however it's expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions, and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovacs that I've tried that does very well at collecting debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially when it comes navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a robot vacuum that does it all.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot vac, there are alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company, has a track record of producing robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted flooring, and mopping functions at an affordable price. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock close to a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move however.

The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will be tucked away under couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design is less ostentatious in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish with three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
