WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the item level by +3. A random extra substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance due to the need to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be visited at any time to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

The cost of upgrades will depend on the current item level of the gear being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than purchasing new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. Buying a similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are useful items that can be used to level up weapons tools, armor, and other items. They are purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any weapon, tool, or armor. button, which will show a preview of the item at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current item level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than bracers or gloves, for example. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of Flightstones or crests used. Once an item upgrader kit has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

Item upgraders can be found at many locations including the main island as well as some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade item discount and a chance to obtain a new upgrade recipe. Crests

The new currency system isn't difficult to use, but it will bring some changes to the process of upgrading. For instance, when a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Item upgrade Mythic) it won't require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change lets players upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

Another significant modification is that crests have one purpose and it's crucial to make use of them in a responsible manner. For instance it's best to use all of your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment available, and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning on making. This is particularly true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality gear.
