World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Upgrades to items can be used to increase the stats of a particular item. Depending on the upgrade type it could boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity and boost additional stats.

Upgrading equipment in The War Within requires a specified number of Flightstones and Crests and each item has an upgrade track. Each upgrade increases the price of the next item by a certain amount.

Item Level

The value of an item's base stats increase when it is upgraded. The value is the sum of all of its leveled up advantages (attack magic attack, attack defense). Upgrades can be expensive, dependent on who you employ and what you decide to do. This is due to how many perks must be replaced in order for the item to be upgraded.

Item Stats

The stats of an item can determine the fate of an item for players. Item Failure

Upgrades to items can be a costly process and not every upgrade will be successful. Cash shop items can be used to boost the success rate of an upgrade, or [Redirect Only] to protect players from losing their item in the event that it does not work.

When you upgrade an item the success rate is displayed in the Honing UI. The percentage indicates the probability of successful upgrading an item upgrader Kit. This can be increased by using Additional Materials or Special materials. The chance of success can only be increased by so high, and the probability that the upgrade will fail cannot exceed 100%.

The performance of an can be affected by the luck of that item. All items have a success rate of 25 percent and each item that has Luck increases the chance of success by five percent.

The upgrade overlays of the item are rendered above the items in the inventory. This may cause obscurity to enchantment effects or other effects. If you wish to disable the upgrade overlays, the config option decoration.renderUpgradeOverlays can be set to False in the Item Upgrader CORE client config.
